Bloody Mary Neocaridina Shrimp
10+1 Shrimp.
Bloody Mary Cherry Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) are a specific grade of Red Cherry shrimp. These shrimp are set apart from Red Cherries by their extremely deep, dark red color. Their coloration extends through their whole body, rather than just the shell, causing the flesh of the shrimp to be red itself instead of white like Red Cherries.
These hardy shrimp will breed prolifically in a wide variety of temperatures and water conditions, but are happiest between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and above 6.5 pH. Please contact me if you wish to know the specific parameters these shrimp are being kept at.
Please be advised that multiple colors of Neocaridina shrimp kept together in the same tank will cause the shrimp to revert to their non-recessive “wild-type” coloration. If you wish for your shrimp to retain their color, it’s best to keep them isolated from other Neocaridina types.
